as far as I'm concern they both got there strenghts and weaknesses. hackers and crackers etc will more use backtrack while the office type will use xp for its simplicity

back track isnt good, its for hackers only. so if you are hacker then you can use it.

what's with the fool comment? isn't everyone entitled to his or her own opinion? and once you mention network and security it means the prevention of unwanted access to that network hence the term hacking.

Hmm, but these script kiddies would not have a clue on how to hack a 1541c floppy drive much less my Fast Load cartridge.

I don't see them comparable.  On the other hand, XP has been inferior to most linux distros for a long time now.
