My Koss SB-45 headset that I bought over five years ago. It's cheap as hell, but it sounds great and has a very good microphone.

Bose headphones are the absolute best in terms of quality I've ever heard... in the UK you can go into a branch of HMV and try out beats, Marshall's, skull candy and Sony's side by side. some of the makes listed will be louder or have more bass, but none have richness and clarity of Bose in my experience... |

@ newt182 - 13.03.15 - 02:33am Unless I have missed something recently, Bose aren't very good ![]() if you have a decent sized HMV near you they might still have them set up like they did a couple of years ago. out of the ones in store they were easily the best (the selection wasn't that huge admittedly) my dad has a pair that I've borrowed a couple of times and I was very impressed with them. I haven't tried truly posh audiophile brands though... |

@ newt182 - 12.03.15 - 05:21pm Beats by Dre (trollface) Why the trollface? Beats have got a quality headphone, i forgot what it is exactly called but if i'm not mistaken it was something like Beats HD Pro. If it is the correct headphone i mentioned, go have a listen to it at the shops. |

@ mok214 - 12.03.15 - 07:03pm My Koss SB-45 headset that I bought over five years ago. It's cheap as hell, but it sounds great and has a very good microphone. For casual gaming and voice comm, i will give it a yes. Anything more than that, definitely a no no. |

The only good thing about Bose is their monitors and surround speakers. |

@ newt182 - 13.03.15 - 02:34am Still got my Audio-Technica ATH-M50's. Had them for a few years now and wont get anything new until these break. One of my very first headphones. I like everything about it except the comfort and the treble. The cable too. Why does it have to be 3 metres? I heard crackling sounds on mine the other day when i put it on. I'm afraid it might now be broken and i am not sure if i will be able to replace mine. |

I got many earphones/iems. Around 3 headphones. I will list them all here. For the headphones, i got Ultrasone 900 Pro, Audio Technica ATH-M50 and Pioneer HDJ 2000. I got the a few more which i have stopped using like the Sony Playstation 7.1 headset 1st gen, AKG 240, Boss Quiet Comfort and a pair of s**tty skullcandy which have got s**tty sounds but extremely good comfort. Forgot the model. I am not a headphone person i should say again.

If you notice on my earphones list, you will see that my headphones are getting more bassier. Well simply because my taste of music change. Yup, earphones have no match in terms of bass compare to close back headphones. As i dont like headphones, i am on a mission to seek and find the best earphones in terms of bass quality.

My earphones journey started way back from 2007 when i first bought my real, audiophile quality earphone in the UE metrofi 220. Back than, it was a cool pair of phones. Now it is cheap like s**t. The sound of them is great. That pair cost me around 100 dollars and now you can find them on ebay for around 20. Mine is already in its coffin, i placed it in a ziploc bag and the foams on it is turning yellow from grey and it is starting to rot ![]() |

I stopped collecting headphones in mid 2011 because i found it to be a tedious hobby and also an expensive one. Sometime early last year i decided to get back into it. When i was at my peak, i could name any earphones in the market just by telling me the price range and the sound you looking for ![]() |

On my wish list at the moment, it is the Shure 215 crystal blue and Shure SE535. For the 535s, i always want it. It was very, very expensive when it was first released, around 700 dollars a pair. It then went down to around 500 dollars because nobody was buying it at that price (that kind of price is uncommon among casual earphones lovers back then) and the reviews rolled in around the internet. Very good pair and since it debut, i yet to own one but i hoping to buy them by the end of this year.
