did some testing, loaded oc settings from usb, same issue, disable SMT control got back the performance, enable and low, another thing if i disable 4G it gives the performance as it used to give before when it was enabled, guess they patched this

Is your ram still running on expo speeds or did it revert to stock speed?

actually it was the RAM i took of the ram and put it back and now all normal, before that i even did a clean windows installation and didn't help same 44fps on games think the bios messed the RAM settings, although i tried different bios and even reset everything, taking off the ram and putting it back fixed the issue

Did you know what is reported as MHz in the RAM info is actually MTps? Wikipedia is your friend. It is a weird mistake STILL happening since forever ago.

It is the same thing tho. No matter what is reported. MT is more of a thing now on ram speeds marked on the sticks. Used to be mhz only. Windows and bios still uses mhz.

Amd has expo just like intel has xmp profiles with ram. Any bios swap or reset defaults that to stock speed. Need to enable it to get full marketed speed of your ram.

If your ram contacts start messing use isopropal alcohol to clean the contacts on the mobo and ram.

my mobo has xmp profile i always use it, even with reset and default settings and optimize settings the performance was 50 low.it was something messed up when i flashed the latest bios, glad i reset the ram ,4-5 days i did all troubleshooting, was planning to get a new system glad i wont need it now

have too much dust inside, as my side panel tempered glass broke so its exposed, maybe that was the reason i had issues ,thinking of giving up for a clean up at a local shop

i have run my cases open for 10 years. no issues at all. just blow them out at times.

Having a 13700kf, ddr5 and a rtx 4090 the damn thing runs cooler without panels on.

what you think should i upgrade my ryzen 5 3600 to 7 5700 or 5 5600x?

whats the power consumption? also guess it doesnt come with a cooler (think)..since wont game much thinking of just upgrading my cpu instead of the whole setup as the 3060ti still performs well

am4 chips run cool and dont pull much unlike intel pulling power like a damn gpu.

also what about am5 boards saw the ryzen 5 7600x, comes in my budget if i wana build a new setup if my pc doesn'twork if i return back home next year,would it be good for the 3060ti or will it bottleneck

Nothing wrong with bottlenecking parts when upgrading gpu and cpu seperately. Using a older gpu with a new build is good. Just make sure you invest in a great psu that can take modern gpu spikes. The wattage only goes up now. I jumped on my current build on my old 3080 first then later went on a 4090. Did get a 1000w corsair psu tho to give me that choice to upgrade. I rather use one high quality psu for 2 builds than risk it with one that could kill the entire pc.

yea 2 months more the get back home, decided to first get a new case for my build as the current one has the tempered glass broken, getting the msi mpg velox 100r case and planning to upgrade to msi mag 750 watts gold psu, the problem my b450 pro vdh max board doesnt have argb headers to sync with software any option to get rgb to argb converter and do they work as they say or is it waste ? i see some at 40 dollar price but dnt wana waste if it doesnt work

The cases usually have a controller with a usb header included so make sure if it has one.
