Hi. I have a big problem. There are many cool applications games which use wap settings. My wap connection works perfectly, exept on these apps. Any ideas how to make it work? Id love 2 play fantasy worlds: rhynn. |

Dude, what phone u got? Series 40 by any chance. Sounds like the same very friggin prob me and million other dudes av. NOTHIN in my applications will connect to gprs. Iv tried everythin.....if anyone can tell me how to resolve it....well, i'll eat my knickers lol x

Sony ericsson an s series pmpl could have sworn that classification was reserved for nokia's  if i'm wrong then i'll eat tidybirds knickers pmpl

Well, i hate to be the bearer of bad news dude. But me and u dude, were up the river wiv out a paddle! Iv been got me phone firmware upgraded / flashed. Been in the nokia service centre, chap could hardly grasp the understanding of the problem it's self! Reckon....im gonna e-mail nokia....give it one more bash. If u have access to a pc or any other kind dude fancy's helpin, have a look on....

If the sony website has an option like the nokia website you can get the settings sent to your phone via text for any network on whichever model of phone you've got. Try there first then go to your provider if those settings fail. You can get orange settings sent from their site if i remember correctly.

Hmm... Havent tried se settings... I tried my operator settings they dont work on apps and games... Maybe ill contact se then...

I know that when u use an oplayo video player u need the gprs internet settings, not the wap settings. I have them for o2, orange and vodafone posted on my wap site (not my home page here). Inbox me if u want to know how to find them

Problem solved! I just took the settings from sony ericssons site! Thanks for everyone who helped or tried 2, this is the best x-mas gift 4ever! Ty! :')
