I'm interested in making a site thats accessible to both web and wap browsers, and want info/advice on doing so. I have space on a web server. If i make the site in xhtml, will it be open for both kinds of browsers? Do i have to use xhtml mobile edition? Do i need to build 2 versions of the site (html and wml). Is it true mobiles are stopping wml support? Any info and advice appreciated. |

A good choice would be wap 1.0 pages with encoding utf8 or something like that.. Contact me if u dnt find any docs

Make an xhtml or html(wich is almost d same)den if u want a wml one u cn convert ur xhtml 2 wml. .w e n . r u supports page conversion.

Yes! You have to make 2 pages 1 for wap and 1 for web...You can also use php script to detect the header content then redirects the user to the right page.

Wml supports all mobile phones, xhtml wap2.0 only supports some of the latest mobiles and web. 2bhonest i would make it wml for aleast the next year untill most other users upgrade there phones.

man wtf u guys have no idea what u talking bout!xhtml is a combination of html and xml which is just a simplified script which is read diferently, make it in html as almost every fone suports html and wap pages are in html, php is a scriting language like asl and javascript to make forms in ur page like search bars, chat sites and so on,as long as u keep big pics out the html it wil show on fone

every fone can and wil suport wml but with it u cant use colour and certain efects so its prety much a waste and wont b thrown away like most of these brainles idiots said!dont use wen. ru they cr*p,rather get a proper host and just upload ur pages,theres a php script that looks at ur device and if its a mobile it wil go 2 wap and if its a pc itl go 2 web,simple,like what hapens when u go 2 google
