Using Nokia 6230i connected to laptop through bluetooth for free internet. Will only work if you have free wap though. First make sure your phone's BT is on. Next, make sure pc's BT dongle is plugged in BUT that BlueSoleil and phone is NOT connected. Now press the laptop's internet button. At the modem to be used, select Bluetooth DUN (GPRS). Put in username and pw then click on DIAL. |

Dunno if it will work on other networks but I'm on Vodacom SA prepaid using standard VodafoneLive! wap settings.

All I know is that ever since I got this phone from Vodacom a few months ago, my wap has been free. Honestly dont know how that works cos all I did was to take my sim card from my old 3510i and put it straight into my new 6230i without changing a d*mn thing. And it was free. Thats that. No matter what site I'm on. I only pay for stuff on sites that specifically say content is paid for.

@jc786 If you go back to what I said and read it carefully again, you'll notice I said that I'm using standard VLive settings and I never made any changes. Its still exactly the same as how I got it from Vodacom. I'm not a phone or wap techie or maniac like the rest of you so I cant tell you anything more about how it works. It works for me. If it doesnt work for you.... Cant help you further.

LISTEN UP . . . Im usen vlive free as can b. . . Da ip n port numbers ar stl da same. . . Wat also works is, use da 111 menue n get da wap setns, dn jus change apn 2 vlive, dats wat i did on my 6610. . .My K750i usen normal vlive settings, same as always.
