Browse your phone u will fine call baring but u will be blocking all your othe people numbers

call barring is a network service and they wont do it unless of course, you dont pay your bills, then it will be done automatically

With my phone (nokia 3220), i can tell it to use certain ring tones when specified numbers call. So, program yr phone to use a silent tone when that number calls u. If yr phone doesnt have a preprogrammed silent ringtone, u should be able to record one specially

if ur phone has number screening function,put that no on screened nos. That way, any call or sms from that no won't bother u. Else go to menu phonebook assign tone and then assign no tone to that no. If u've got symbian phone, try applications like Call Manager or Black lister etc

The poster did say he has 6110 which is not s60 symbian and that the number does show up. Put that number in a calling group and put that group on silent. However its still a nuisance as you will see how many missed calls you have had, plus it will go to your voicemail if not answered. But at least that way you will have proof to take it further with the networks for banning those calls on a

permanent basis from that number.

Goto setting on your phone and click security setting and then click call restriction and put code 12345 And there u can able to block his number. This trick working fine on my S40 mobile in india.

I've tried calling customer care asking them about blocking this irritating number they told me that its not possible i can't block 1 number i can only block all incoming calls and sms's, they also told that even if i can go 2 the police there's nothing they can do.

I wonder if i could insert my sim on D600 and block that number will it still works if i take the sim back 2 nokia 6110 ?

no the block is active on the phone not the sim. I see yr in SA mayb their policy is different from uk. Jus do what i said earlier, put that number in group and set it on silent. They'll soon get fed up of it.

Or post the number ere an all of us can ring it and bug them

Just don't answer the calls or texts from that number. Let them go thru voicemail and delete it straight away. The more you don't answer that call - it'll soon stop bothering you. Hope this helps.
