I've recently seen a deal where you top up 15 and get totally unlimited internet, 300 any network minute, can't remember the texts but what I want to know is, will this work in a dongle? |

Well I have phoned them and there is a cap, 450 gig....which is great but he did say if you put it in a computer it won't work, I never even mentioned that, he came out with it.

They can tell if you put it in a dongle, but probably not if you use a HSDPA phone as a modem.

Why cant you use it in a dongle there is no different weather in the dongle or the phone they both go though the mobile phone tower

Because it's in their terms that you're not supposed to use the bundle for internet on a computer. It will work on a dongle but the network can see which device you're using the SIM in so may block you if they check.

I'm using a spare 3 SIM with a 15 pound add-on for tethering at the moment so will try it in a dongle in the last few days to see whether they block it.

the only way they can know if its in a dongle is if they check the mac address and i just cant see them checking every mac address to seee if its a dongle or not

Would you believe that this deal does not even give you free 3 to 3 calls.

They use the same access point name weather in the dongle or in the phone i think the only different is the access point name on pre paid or monthly plan are different

The contract plan alone does officially permit you to tether, but they won't stop you on pay as you go either.
