nokia 6210 navigator. when installing any sis file, it says file corrupt and quits the installation. how do i fix this? |

I read on some forum some guru who uploaded some file saying that there is nothing wrong with a file being downloaded when that happens...

It just means that there is something wrong that happened along the way while the download process was going on. Try download it again
|

I'm not sure about this (check in the s60 forum) but I'm pretty sure the 6210 uses 'sisx' files, and that error is common when trying to install 'sis' (s60v2) files, but as I said check it out in the symbian forum.

even with sisx files, same thing. It worked before i updated the software using the Device Manager.

star hash 7370 hash then 12345. it will wipe everything on the phone memory.

If i happen to download anything thats corrupt i just delete it! Luckily none has happened with my currant phones!

Virus is the most causes of file format not supportd and error install... even if u downlodd the appropriat file for ur fone
