Hi, i have a 1990 opel monza clx, i bought a 2l 8v motor for it...hopefuly by the end of the weekend everything will be conected, some1 had a look at the motor and said its a is motor, now some1 else told me that if i put in the crank from my 1800 motor that i wudnt need 2 do any other mods if i wan2 add a turbo...is this true? |

The 1800 crank will have a shorter stroke thus decreasing compression ratio for the boost u gonna add.your next mods are gonna depend on how much boost u gonna add

Dnt u sleep lol,your stock internals will not handle alot of boost put it that way.

Searchd a little on google, shud be fine if i dont run high boost, also read that i shud change the fuel injector and biger valves wud help alot

Maybe an adjustable fuel pressure regulator too and a slightly bigger throttle body

If u start running 0.8 bar boost u gonna have to start thinkin of new pistons, conrods, balancing of moving parts, better fuel, and maybe a fuel mapping system or ecu
