sounds crazy , but Im going backwards. after finally having the best android (that I could have) which is Xperia M, Im replacing it for an N8. I love everything about the M but I just couldn't get over the camera,it's the worst even in its own category. Eventhough the gpu on the M was quite decent but i've never really gamed on it(it was more like an achievement to me), I mean i've TRIED fpse with Gran Turismo 2 and Dead Trigger 2 but then I would just abandon it because I usually would just game on my laptop. I realise i'm more inclined to camera-phonegraphy now, plus I've good background of using nokia S40/s60v3 so using it wouldn't be much fuss. I think I just need decent browser with 3G + wifi as a feature |

getting an 808pureview would have been better in every way. much faster processor, more ram and amazing camera. the n8 does have it's issues in responsiveness of touch input. get opera mobile for it rather than use the default browser (unless you want to watch flash videos online, in which case it's ok)

i agree with you, that was the better option, but I forgot to add that I'm in a bit of tight budget  ... cheapest used 808 local price is about 250USD.. I can get used N8 for 100USD and I could use the extra money too  .. I wouldn't mind much on the touch responsiveness, I think my experience with the samsung Corby II has taught me enough to appreciate it

browsing on the n8 is as bad as an n95. if youre only using it for wap then its not too bad.

..congrats,N8 is a nice piece,I've had it for a few times..sell,then buy another,swap then get another1,lol..it's cute,lies well in hand and can serve fine for the photography purposes..

I only do fb and googling infos on phone.. the lack of an unlimited data plan is also why I decided to with this

..as I could remember that time I liked more Anna's widgets and notifications of a new message or missed call..Belle changed that..bah,forgot,but I remember that I've tried to install those 'old' widgets,but Notifications couldn't..but I doubt you'll find N8 with Anna now in 2013,lol..

try delight customfirmware then, im using n8 before, now using c7(brown mahogany, very perfect condition and outdate fmware, maybe lady user before) besides my androids, i get it only 62.90usd, and im flashing delight cfw right now

finally got my green N8.. its much better than I expected... already upgraded to Belle... Im quite interested in Delight cfw, im worried with all the fuss about c drive filling up with cache.

really, that only happens if you always use the default browser and never clear the cache. it's a horrible browser to use for me anyways..
