Samsung has released a list of which of their devices will receive the Android4.1.1 JB Update. The list includes Galaxy Note10.1, Galaxy Tab2 10.1, Galaxy Tab2 7inch ,Galaxy Note, Galaxy S2, Galaxy S2 LTE, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy Ace2, Galaxy Beam and quite a few more, it does however exclude the original Galaxy Tab10.1: http://is.gd/Z2Qps8 |

I tried the jellybean resurrection remix rom a few Hours ago and the internal and external cards have different names so lots of my backups wouldn't work as nothing is where the apps were looking. I hope this isn't the same on the official version. and it wasn't the emmc file names for which there's a fix.

best jb rom for the s2 ATM is supernexus build 3. by far the most solid and doesn't memory leak anywhere near as much as the cm10 nightlies.

No official won't be the same even if you update via kies you won't loose settings if you follow procedure |

rpd.fire did you mean build 2 because I can find no trace of a build 3 on xda or Google.

Will YouTube and other apps stop working when I get the Jelly Bean update?

rah1, nope. Thanks to how long it takes for OEMs take to upgrade our Android phones by the time we get the updates majority of apps are already optimized. Google apps like GMail, YouTube, Chrome, GMaps and Google Plus are usually updated for the latest OS on the same day as it is unveiled.

the modified cm10 nightlies are thick and fast. only deal breaker for me is low earphone volume or I'd use one as a daily driver.
