depending on what version of android you have, you should be able to root your phone/tab then install aparted or apps2SD or something similar. you'll need to backup your memory card elsewhere as you'll need to partition part of the card so that the phone accepts it storage memory. search xda for apps2SD for details...

Without a rooted phone, some apps will not allow you to move them to the SD card. Next time, buy a phone with at least 8 gigabytes of internal memory.

8gb? I suggest 32gb. you will have a bad time on a phone that only has 8gb. Even 16gb isn't enough

My phone only has 8 gigabytes of internal memory. I just bought a new sd card and was surprised that I had enough room to put all my apps on internal memory. I bought a 32 gigabyte Sandisk SD card and downloaded the Sandisk app that allows me to move some files in internal memory to my sd card to free up space. Some day I will by a new phone that can use a 64 gigabyte or larger sd card. |

your phone probably can already mok, the maximum size rating they give quite often means nothing at all. larger cards tend to come in different formats so it's often useful to change that before you start using it.
