Galaxy Note 8 vs. Galaxy S8

Preordered in Midnight Black.

It's not worth being disappointed about but it's just that little bit wider than the s8+, which is needed. I knew they'd make the note wider. S pen is not needed

My Mrs is getting the note though so I will play with one

Don't know why they put a smaller battery in though.

Probably something they're holding back for next year

Midnight black is awesome. My s8 is midnight black and i was sold on it the first time i saw it lol.

I'll take the slightly smaller screen for this kind of battery life any day. I have to charge it less so the fixed battery lasts longer

Doubt the note 8 can achieve anywhere near this

The battery is just 200mAh smaller, I'll be good for me the SPen has been greatly missed, I truly enjoy my S7 Edge and its huge battery, but I can take the slight knock and get the Note8 for the SPen and huge display. If the Note7 had not exploded, I'd have a Note7 right now and I'd be skipping the Note8.

Apparently the Note8 battery will retain over 95percent of its charge capacity over 2years. That is brilliant , I'll only use it for 12months as I will get the Note9 next year.

Its amazing how much more screen you get with the new aspect ratio keeping it narrow for one handed use. I find myself mostly using my s8 one handed and if i want to watch videos i am already home infront of bigger screens. If they keep up the slimming down it will make them almost as compfortable like the old phones were to make calls etc.

Even the s8 3000mah battery lasts long i presume the note 8 will do also with its slightly bigger battery. I used to run to charge my phone after work with my s6 now i have 70percent left after work

Only annoying part with samsung i have right now is burned pixels. Im paranoid about them after my s6 got it in a few months of use My s6 has my ex gf name burned into the screen

that will happen if you use a wallpaper with your ex gf's name on it, disable the screen timeout and leave it on charge while you go on holiday.

my lad has pre ordered his...i'll have his hand me down s6 edge plus....

Long hours on video call even the disconnect call button is there etc.
