just read that bmw made the exhaust and it wieghed in at 80kg , mclaren spec wanted it at a target wieght of 25kgs lol , so bmw went back to drawing board, simply couldnt do it eventualy they made it on target out of gas fire element grade steel , mega thin with a titanium back section. the exhaust cost bmw more in development than the engine did

the LM was sold in 2003 for 700k pounds. a pitiful 700 grand for a special car like that

was saying how they sell now for 2million , and what mcclaren do is u buy a 2nd hand macca , take it back to factory and basicaly they strip it down re apolster it and paint it to your spec replace any worn parts , basicaly u get a brand new car back

when mclaren built them they guaranteed lifetime support for the car when you buy it, mclaren make sure that it is perfect

They've got a new super car out. Jensen b*tton and Lewis Hamilton helped develop it. Saw a clip of em blastin it round a track on summat, and they both get one free.

you mean the MP4 12C. Interestingly, the forumla one cars share similar code designations. the MP4-12 mclaren was hideously unreliable in 1997

It has 2 air ducts that open off break line pressure ove 40mph and direct air to the rear spoiler to keep the backend stable under highspeed breaking.. And try keep the even weight distrabution.. Amazing!

I still just respect the F1 for being naturally aspirated. Its still the fastest production NA in the world. Its always gonna be the most driveable, the smoothest and most driveable. Aint no replacement for displacement

Course you can nail turbochargers and superchargers to an engine but really there isnt anything like pure aspiration, a huge displacement and 12 free revving cylinders. Most of my favorite units are V12s. They just make the best sound. Colombo V12.........
