ecu stands for engine control unit.an actuator would be an electronic component ie solinoid tied in to the fuel train

Hi,iam from zambia and i own an AE91,toyota corolla 5A-16valve EFI engine.It has a small misfiring.I checked high tension cables and changed plugs but its still there.Could it be that 1 or 2 injector nozzles are not firing?

engine management is all about a small board of executives shrunken down to fit in the box under your bonnet  if they do not get bonuses and good pensions they will go out on strike and thats why sometimes your car will not start
