1st and obvious is that instead of pressing aA then letter for capitals, you can just hold down the letter.. also if you hit the space bar twice it puts in a full stop.

press and hold the alt b*tton then press lglg to clear your event log. it will speedup your phone a bit if you use it alot. enjoy

If you want to add a lot of numbers to a message, press alt then aA and you can type numbers. press alt again to go back to normal qwerty use.

hold Blackberry b*tton logo down to show what apps are running in back ground... too many drains battery...

on your browser make sure u clear your cache regularly... go to browser n its in options. get rid of any unwanted memory...

dont download too much garbage especially themes. they tend to make the phone slower as i discovered when i was on my Bold 9000. i just use standard theme with a favoured wallpaper...

keep wifi and bluetooth turned off if u dont use these all on a regular basis. only put them on when u need to... unless your phone network supports UMA and u need wifi to boost your Blackberrys signal cause of poor network coverage

type 'MYPIN then press space b*tton' in a message to show your phones PIN automatically. handy for SMSing mates your PIN

use the Blackberry Desk Top Manager. its normally in the box on a disc or u can download it from Blackberry website. use this to backup, restore or do software updates for your device... handy if u get a replacement Blackberry

go on the Blackberry Desk Top Manager... there u can uninstall applications n languages to increase phone memory. some applications u can just delete by highlighting in the phone n pressing options. i prefer to do it this way. for example i deleted all Games, Help app, Tasks... theres many things that u may not need

in camera mode, pressing sym is a shortcut to flash setting, once in this screen press the space bar to change the flash setting.

if you want to delete large parts of text, or copy and paste. hold down aA b*tton then scroll across text you want to copy then use menu b*tton to copy. or simple hit del to get rid of it all.
