I've been usin voda's bis, n its very gud @ downloads after hours, gettin about 200kbps downloading, but I can't help but be curious, how's the mtn and cell c, and 8a rates, if any1 is using em, do tell |

200kb/s on cellc .. all day.. also the download limit per file is around 300mb.. pretty reasonable because I noticed mtn and vodacom restricts the size of the file to around 150mb.

seems they all capped @ 200kbps ,regardless of phone model, I've never had a file restriction on voda, largest file I did was 370mb

After using MTN for 4 years with no probs I had to swap to Voda after relocating (from pmb to estcourt).. as ntwrk signal and 3G are more powerful here than all other networks.. I use Torch btw and the best I get is 170mb per sec which is ok with me..

for the past 2 weeks I can't download a single file.. browsing speed is super; download speed is miserable; it stars showing 70+kbps then descents down to 7.. no matter what time I try to download, it remains slow

I thought something wrong with the phone so I wiped it but it didnt help.. is it possible that my download speed been capped or shaped by the ntwrk knowing that I just renewed my bis subsription last week on the 20th

after vodacom gave me a 1.1kbps connection on 3G, I hav decided 2jump ship 2 cell c, but after some googling, I found out therz a problm wit cell c runnin BIS on os6,, so can any1 validate using cell c BIS on OS6 here?

I'm using mtn, os6 on my 9700, I get 160kbps. I dnt hav a limit, I downloaded large files biggest was 1.4gb. on os5 I had a limit, bt os6 its waaaaay better

I only get 15kb/s with my 9780 in a 3G area, phoned 1555, they said i must go to a mtnsp shop but they have no idea what to do (?) , i'm not happy, i'm in a 3G area , phone is setup for 3G but avg very low speed.
