did she reboot her phone, normally you have to reboot the phone for bis to show, a quick way is to switch the network off then on again- go to your connection manager and untick ''mobile network'' wait 5sec then click on it again enabling it. wait and see. if it still hasn't show the bb sign then call ur sp and check to see if was activated on their side.

therez a bb sign next to 3G sign and she has already received to take battery out etc for service books and stuff. will try the untick but when you say untick in the browser is where it shows that blackberry internet service: Not connected

When i checked the airtime balance nothing was used up. Maybe all will be sorted out in time. Just that i wanted to mess around with it last night and test net. Out of curiosity, how long should a new BB battery be charged for? Some say it dnt matter others say 16hours. Anyone clued up?

SO I have read and learnt alot from searching posts here. Only problem my lil sis is having is appworld not working, getting stuck on authentication sceen. Is there a pc app alternative to Blackberry Desktop manager? something that can install apps and themes that only have jad files. or convert .jad to .alx or even populate .cod files from .jad

The reason being i got alot of themes but very few had alx files so i installed those with Desktop manager, a few others only had .jad and .cod files so those i copied to mem card and installed from there but now most of em are just .jad which i had downloaded with PC. Also is there a battery app that shows u percentage left next to the icon or a decent battery meter. Otherwise nifty phone she got

the software I'm not too sure about phly, but as for the app, try meterberry you can get the trial version from bbsgame.mobi it comes with a keygen. it shows the percentage left, bat temp, discharge rate and time remaining.

I just realized that I cant install the themes that way. I have come across some handy apps though. Atleast now i know in future to do OTA downloads using phone otherwise i'll end up with hopeless .jad files thinking i got meaningful themes, will look up the app thanks
