I have a problem that's realy irritating me now I have a 8520 curve problem is all of sudden just 2weeks back I get a error in Bb application world beneath My World It says this *A Blackberry identy update is needed* yes or no and when I click yes it do this Contacting Blackberry id server and it start running 5seconds and give me this Blackberry id server failed please try again later (80003) so this means I can't install any appliction on my bb Please help coz I'm goin to broke the foon so |

saw this error a while back.. Not sure if it ws th same model. It hs to do wth ur speed bing to slow to update. Solution is to connect to a wifi network and update via the same..

deleting and downloading wont work coz it stil asks for an update even after getting the latest app world version.

i just went to app world on bb site and downloaded it again without deleting first one. did the ID update thingy with out a prob . nice profile pic tamanna :)

I try All nothing Work guys So please It seems i need this version BlackBerry App World 2.1.0.39 were can i download it from with out using application center Coz they just give u the newest version to download

cant understand cuz bb normally sends a notification if theres a new update version ..didnt u get it ??? anyways i had the same prob..also a topic here abt it but that was a while back ..one of the replies in there sorted out my prob ..good luck

I did and I also instaled the newest version a v3 . somethinh and since then i got this id prob and thing is i would even had care but now coz of this im unable to install any other app that needs to be upgraded

well you could try the clearing appworld cache like I had suggested to meimei before, in app world press alt+rRST and reboot phone. after reboot all will be well. i think for the latest appworld version 3.0 its alt+RSTRST

open the phones clock then options and set it to update the time automatically, ur app world should work proply after that
