I read that bb10 will be using a new structure as far as flow of data is concerned but I didn't think that it will be as soon as this. now I'm left wondering how they will push the rest of us in prepaid packages but using old legacy phones into that field as well. I don't do huge files but even my small update download is now in danger. watching data so it dsnt deplete is so not ayoba

I guess its back to rationing data then, they give you a scoop of say 1Gig a month and you use it like food at a residence making provisions. This will only affect SA the most. the rest all have fast uncapped data.

Back to the bad old days when one had to go sniffing around stealing other people's wi fi connections. Goodnight BB

Wonder if Rim realizes how many customers they are going to lose

Does iphone or android have any internet deals like bis?
|
||
@waplinxs | 30 January 13
Doubt it, and you can be sure nobody else will when they see how we've r*ped bis

RIM, now called Blackberry, won't lose the current customer base, New users wishing to adopt the OS10 are the ones who'll have to decide if its worth it of a device to go for and since the two devices announced look more orientated for business folks people will still buy them. contract phones that give you certain allocation of data every month. BBM is still there and not many want to ditch that esp teens.

Ok, but will Bis stay the way it is on the older handsets?....

@trollulz | 30 January 13
@ ungers - 30.01.13 - 12:08pm Its called Blackberry Internet Service......BIS......and as we PAY for this service, I would say Rim do owe us something...... you only pay the equivalent of 6 dollars 50 cents USD. That's practically free so, no, you can't complain. |
