I have heard if you put the phone in FOS and then install normal OS the counter resets I have not personally tried it but maybe it works

FOS is Factory Operating System search for Blackberry 9300 FOS plug your phone into pc and run program it takes a few minutes then just install Normal OS

@thesayan, I tried the FOS for the 9300 but now its saying 'No Application Linked Factory OS When I try to reload the OS, it switches off and says Fatal Error. Please help. I have killed somebody's phone. Lol.
