Its just a normal simcard only thing is for 12monts after activation u get 200MB of data that's why u pay R50 for it. I use mine for data and phonecalls in my android phone.. The others are R1 I think but u don't get any data... I've been using mine almost a year now and I buy the psb data bundle for R150 that's 2GB of data plus 1GB of nightsurfer and as I 1st Load a R100 of airtime I Get a Free 10GB Telkom connect wifi bundle added to my account that I can use at any telkom connect hot spot.

I have google searched and phoned our local telkom store in our mall they don't know about it. Even google no results and nothing on their website...... But however I have found a company called DATASIM that have these exact features that u make and I have now ordered a sim to see how it works they seem to use all of the current cellular networks and not just 1 of them...

They don't mention downloading videos but they do make mention of watching videos on facebook and also using apps so yes if u have an app like showbox then u can watch series and movies from it I guess and download.

U also get R50 airtime every month included in the uncapped internet but bandwith is only at 282kb/s which won't be bad as I'm not even getting near to that on my BIS at moment. I will post again if and when I get my sim from them.

Showbox is for android phones I haven't seen it for pc... Just have a look on google playstore there's more than 1 app called showbox... The 1 I use has a green eye for thumbnail. The others are spelled with spaces and they are the usual cr*p u find that people put on google playstore also this showbox is for BB10 devices also.

I have ordered a sim card and it ended up costing me R200.00 and hopefully they will deliver it to me by friday HOPEFULLY lol

yeah they did say that the activation fee is 200 but after you only have to pay 150 or less if you only want to use social networks

Check out their facebook page. Lots of complaints already. Really slow speeds...think slower EDGE...faulty sim cards and some other issues. Some users complained that the service is useless

Well they phoned me today and I will be getting my simcard next wednesday... Then I will use it and give a proper review here for u guys... Also they only claim that their speed is max 282kb/s and that they also do throttle users that are constantly using the internet. That's also why they say they don't allow for busines use... But I will test it for a month and see how it is.

If its 282 kb/s, u can divide that by 8............that will be your download speed, it means 35.25 kb/s.........(and they throttle users that are constantly on the internet?) What is wrong with this picture?....And why call it uncapped, even throttling at this pizz poor speeds already......no wonder they offer month to month........cos they catch many people that way......no contract, but worthless net....lol....

Anyway, i posted the link, cos i found it in a online ad..........like i said, i didnt bother, cos i knew the download speed would be worthless, didnt know about the throttling, making it extra worthless...cant even stream youtube on that.............

I hope you idiots realize that even if you somehow find some use for the data, and end up using over a gb on that particular activity, then it will be blocked. This is not through the network, this is a company buying out an APN from the network and saying let us have unlimited internet to all using that APN, from those numbers approved to do so. All internet activity will be monitored. Data sim are the third party here, offering you their monitored APN for use.

1gb?.....this is modern times......I eat 3gb/day easily......sometimes more, I download movies, series and software.......I just schedule my computer to shut down when all downloads has finished.......

I miss the part where I said that 1gb is a lot? Re-read my post, and reply back when you see how the use of 1gb serves to emphasize what a s**t deal this so called Data Sim is.

No, u got it wrong.....i meant its a s**tty deal, wasn't meant for u....but they cap a user at 1 gb? Seems like a rip-off........
