Actually I just downloaded the latest update for os7 but yes there will be no future support..... But unlike android when there's an update available ANDROID users are locked out until the upgrade it doesn't happen on BB platform I can still use the app that's installed on my phone

i have packed my bb away. took it out the other day and don't see myself using it again... screen seems so tiny and using the buttons isn't that appealing either.

I still use my bb 9790 for everything,(except downloading) but at home I use my laptop on wifi...old habits die hard....yep, even my whatsapp is still ok..

We here at Whatsapp realise not all users are fortunate to replace their current handsets to conform with our focus on security and enhancements. Therefore we are considering extending the deadline for the next 12 months, to give our loyal users time to upgrade their existing handsets, we will roll out basic updates during this period, but as it is aimed on infrastructure, not all users might benefit or receive updates depending on their current handsets.......

Ironically, the S5 is still in high demand, excellent battery life, and it gives just about all the bells and whistles found on the S7......in fact, it can be flashed to the S7 firmware, as far as i can see on the internet.......
