I met the mother of my daughter on Mopilot years ago. I think Pro took over? I have also made and met a couple of friends and enemies via this site. Online and offline.

Ummmm well... We officially came to an end just before Christmas BUT we're really good friends and we have such a special bond thanks to our daughter.

My friend met her now husband on here 7yrs ago, they now have two kids together. I don't think online meets are any worse than reality in terms of meeting dodgy people. I think it's just that a lot of people who use sites like this to date are quite lonely and just don't take the time needed to get to know somebody.

I actually prefer meeting potential partners online. There's nothing worse than going on a date with a mute. Having said that... I have met chatty women online and then gone on to meet them offline only to discover that they can barely string a sentence together.
