almost everyone has that problem, you need to take it apart using a torx t6 screw driver and give it a good clean.

its the one that fits those star shaped screws, goto a hardware shop and ask for a t6 screw driver .

Press up to go down by the way if you open it you loose your warranty just Take it back to the shop they will just check the phones imei number

As wez said dont attemp taking it apart cuz if ur phone dies ur warranty void.

warrenty is gone anyway, no receipt.... whats all that press up to go down stuff about and yeah it would viod if you had thr recipt, k800i is also tricky to get into , but its the most efective way to fix it.

i took my phone in wen i killed it wid no slip but they checked on computer n saw its stil under warranty n fixed it free.

My bro lost his reciept once he went to carphone warehouse they checked computer n his imie was there.

Yeah i had that problem as well with my k800i,wat i do is just switch the phone off and give the joystick a good wiggle,and if you get an ear bud and give it a gud clean it's wrkin ok now,but does play up frm time 2 time

No no just use a needle dont try and dig in too deep and remove all the thingys from it

A NEEDLE... , thats probably the one thing you DONT want to use, you may tear or puncture the rubber real which WOULD break the joystick.

I mean rubber seal.
