Some Nokia phones suffer the same situation. You can get memory low messages when the internal phone memory is low regardless of how much empty space you may have on your memory card. Go through your files and see if you have a lot of stuff using phone memory or else remove your memory stick and see what files are left. Freeing up some phone memory may solve your problem.

Modern phones are like mini computers and the software platform needs sufficiant phone memory to run efficiantly and if it thinks there isnt enough it wont let you install a file even if you choose the card as a location. It may also mean that there isnt enough phone memory to be able to process the download.

If you have little or no files using internal memory then iam at a loss to know the cause other than a software glitch. Or a memory card fault. But the latter is unlikely.

This problem can be frustrating to say the least. All you can do is go through everything. Sometimes it isnt allways easy to see what memory files are using so the removing the stick and seeing whats left is an easier way.

In my k800 the incoming file always gets into the place that has free memory. It feels great but i hav only 64mb card. :-(
