Reminds me of the post where I talked about COD2 as well good days they were, good days. I thought COD2 looked pretty until I played Oblivion. Funny to see how they have aged quite a bit now, but still look decent.

I almost gave up like kasar in the sewere as the tutorial just seemed kind of long and boring. But once i got outside i was like wow this is awesome.. think i spent just an hour or so admiring the scenery.

I am thinking of reinstalling it because there was so much fun/trouble you could get into. NexusMods has a lot of mods to keep it entertaining for quite a few replays.

Yea, it might be time for me to get back into oblivion and mod the hell out of it... that looks pretty good.. i wonder if theres a mod to change the hideous faces though.. ill have to check...

Enchanting for 100% invisibility was the bee's knees.

I used to keep a whole set of armor with 100 percent chameleon effect in inventory for special occasions.

The one thing i hated was you got some enchanted warhammer or some cr*p valued at like 32,000 gold but most you can hope to get was i think 1,500. There was better merchants in ff1 on nes! ..

There is a NexusMod shopkeeper/fence called Demonicus that is pretty easy to bribe or work on your speechcraft, even at level 1. He will give you top gold for everything that can be sold. What's cool about him is you can sell him stolen items when you are not in the Thieves Guild, but it still counts as total goods fenced when you decide to join.

I got something similiar for skyrim, havent browsed much of oblivions mods yet, only got the unique landscapes and 2 other mods forget what they are...ill have to check that one out though.

I loved oblivion. Did all the guilds just didn't finish the main quest lol. Never could get into skyrim the same though!

I have heard that from a lot of players, they all say that Skyrim was not as replayable as either Oblivion or Morrowind.

yes, i've seen that. all you really get is a bonus disc and a map though? so pretty much the same as the goty. I still like exploring Oblivion, acrobatics is something they should have kept imo

Maybe I should play Oblivion through again, it's been ages since last time. Guilds had proper and clever questlines unlike Skyrim, much fun was had.

I should get it...loved skyrim... I hope doesn't bore me though..will have to add gfx mods... Bdw any new elder scrolls yet after skyrim?

I managed to kill the head of the Dark Brotherhood when he came to visit me in a cave I slept in can't do any of those quests, but getting his armour was handy at the time.
