Who is your favorite character? Felicia and Morrigan have been my faves since the first game in arcades... I remember the big screen machine @ Pelikaani when i was like 12 or something. |

The most recent release is in Capcom Fighting Collection which has the Arcade versions of DS games + a few other extras. I personally want to see a darkstalkers 4 too.

Forgot these games make you want to punch holes into walls. The CPU can see your inputs and launch any move at the flick of a switch and such BS. You need to git gud and have a bit of luck with you like hitting the enemy a few times wait for timer to run out or some other cheese way. In more modern games (4 babies?) this kinda stuff would constitute being at least hard or very hard, but here in Darkstalkers it is just MEDIUM (4/8)! I can feel my arms from wrist to elbow after 1h of this s*it.

AND beside the base difficulty, there is the difficulty curve too. In short: First enemy is easiest and last is hardest. These were coin eater arcade games after all... In games that had non-linear enemy placement if you got certain ones in certain order and got beaten you knew when to give up and when to try again. ![]() |

Lowered difficulty of Vampire The Night Warriors to 3... Morrigan still mops the floor with me. The CPU blocks pretty much all and any attacks, responds with a suitable counter attack immediately to anything i try to do. Only time she has an opening is when she shoots a projectile and you have to jump over it and maybe you can land a hit, maybe. Also it isn't a wonder that i win more matches with the timer hitting zero rather than knock outs.
