After 4 years my 60gb ps3 has died! I think my original warranty is over lol. sending it to sony this week, glad they still fix the 60s as got no ps2... Guess I have to hook up the old gamecube and play some resi evil to pa55 the time. |

I still got my 8bit nes since launch and that still works!! How long is that over 20years lol...hmm i might have to dig that out and hook it up, play some old classics

Course they're built to break. Its a clever way of forcing ya to go out and buy a new one but jokes on them as it normally ends up breaking during the warranty period

Alot of people dont look after their stuff. I remember one incident where the person in question used tons of aerosols and smellies. Opened their ps2 up and it was coated thick in cr*p. Ps2's were easy tho. A hoover would usually clear it up nicely. My 360 gets covered with an anti dust cloth while not in use

more power used,chips,boards,wires, information been wizzed around and movin drives now compared to the old nes and speccys so more can go wrong.was rare a cartridge snapped and if the tapes got chewed just cut off the end and pull it out....
