 pi*s off ryan. Last tennis game I played was the PS2 version of Top Spin. Was dirt cheap in Woolies on release, 25 quid I think. Yeah it was cheap cos the conversion was awful. Got a fiver for it a few days later.

Gamecentral compared it to what they've played of Virtua Tennis 4 and pretty much said that's gonna be good too but Top Spin 4 is the more serious of the twn. I'm guessing it's gonna be more arcadey. The Top Spin Academy mode sounds great.

virtua tennis is an arcade game by lineage anyway. I remember first time i saw it on a naomi board down the arcades it looked incredible for the time

Judging from the Top Spin 4 demo it's probably the most realistic tennis game yet, the animation is just stunning. Aint played a Virtua Tennis game tbh, nearly got the one on PS2 but it did look a bit too arcadey.

VT came to the arcades running on dreamcast level boards in 99 and was amazing. then 2 came to the arcade and i used to spend ages on the full size sit down cab version of that before it was on cast and then ported to ps2.  top spin was ok but never as good until now
