Some stupid french tourists (yet again) tried to take photos and videos of a tiger at the Tau Thaba game farm outside Bloemfontein. After being warned numerous times to not get too close the kid was standing with his back against the cage (Darwin award move) when the tiger clawed him. The kid remained calm while the dad was having a panic attack. He is in hospital now, bla bla bla.... This is probably the 5 th attack so far this year where dumb tourists get ganked because they don't listen and think these type of cats are tame. Shouldn't we just leave these animals to cull the stupid out of our gene pool? |

the game farm/zoo should be accounting for the stupidity of adults and the naivety of children by designing enclosures that make this stuff impossible.

some kids are a bit more naive,daredevil,trusting than others.i generally expect a lot of the parents.i would never say that to them after the fact,though.that would be unkind n noone is foolproof
