Dinner/Tea can be used fairly interchangeably here, both being your night time meal. So what zonino said.

@ tranie - 19.06.19 - 11:30am im an old git ![]() Snap , well ..with the old git bit ..we used to have three course dinners and they were usually ok ..Friday was always fish or cheese and onion pie to cater for any Catholic pupils ...and the puddings were brilliant |

I remember it being basic, like a plate of chips, or liver and onions.. but it was always nice and i ate it all. Must've been nicely cooked. And that given my mum made far better grub for tea, but i rarely liked it and would remain up at the table with half a plate of cold food until they let me get down.. |

In South Africa the schools start really early, 7:30. But the school day ends early too, 1:30ish. Kids usually just take lunchboxes with a sandwich and snacks for break times. And proper lunch is eaten at home, boarding school, hostels, after school care or wherever they go.
