There were no ancient western civilizations, just modern fakes made to demean China. Renowned Professor Huang Heqing claims via an online broadcast circulated to hundreds of thousands of users that the Egyptian pyramids, the Parthenon, and other remnants of ancient civilizations in the West, were all faked by Western scholars in order to fabricate an ancient history, and diminish the glory of China. Huang teaches in the School of Arts and Archeology at Zhejiang University one of the oldest, most selective, and prestigious universities in China. He stated in his lecture that from the 19th to 20th centuries, the West was rampantly forging historical and cultural relics, and spending huge sums of money everywhere from the Mediterranean to India, fabricating fake ancient relics. The Pyramids of Khufu, and the Great Sphinx of Giza, were made of concrete, and constructed in the 19th century, Huang claims. ''The ancient Egypt we know today is actually a fairy tale fabricated by the Western orthodox historians since the 19th century.'' He said; Western scholars elevated the status of ancient Egyptian, Mesopotamian, and Indian civilizations at Chinas expense, Huang argues. The intention of this vast occidental conspiracy in fictionalizing these three civilizations to appear to be older than Chinese civilization was to weaken the glory of Chinese civilization. Chinese civilization is more ancient, Huang said |

''Whether it is the pyramids and the Sphinx in Egypt, or the Parthenon Temple in Athens, they are all actually modern forgeries by Western countries, with the purpose of depreciating Chinese culture,'' Huang emphasized. This is a historical conspiracy, so I have to make a stand for rectification for Chinese culture. |

If Huangs were only one voice, well many people would laugh the story off, but, in reality Huang is only one member of a school of thought developing in China which aims to re-write the history of the world to put China at the center. In another book, author Zhu Youzhi asserts that Primitive Europe was brought into the civilization of the world by China, from which it obtained writing, navigation, technology, economy, bureaucracy, democracy, philosophy, and history. |

In the book Fictitious Ancient Greek Civilization, published in 2015, author Dong Binsheng, claims that ancient Greek civilization does not have any credible philology or archeologically credible proof. The history of ancient Greece is a cultural movement. This movement began around the 14th century, Dong argues. Rather than a Renaissance of classical western civilization, the Age of Enlightenment was a product of contact with Chinese civilization. |

In The Source of Civilization and the World of Great Harmony (2012), author Du Gangjian explains how human civilization originated in the southwestern region of China, and ancient Chinese people moved westward, creating ancient Greek and Roman civilizations. The Chinese even invented the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations according to another scholar. |

Tldr: Chinese professor says Western civilization is constructed just to belittle China. He is part of a rapidly growing movement amongst thousands of other scholars who believe world history should be revised and the truth should be revealed about how western history is simply just lies while China is in the center of innovation, culture and creation. |

Gavin Menzies: He was best known for his controversial book 1421: The Year China Discovered the World, in which he asserts that the fleets of Chinese Admiral Zheng He visited the Americas prior to European explorer Christopher Columbus in 1492, and that the same fleet circumnavigated the globe a century before the expedition of Ferdinand Magellan. Menzies' second book, 1434: The Year a Magnificent Chinese Fleet Sailed to Italy and Ignited the Renaissance extended his discovery hypothesis to the European continent. I'm assuming this guys writing had something to do with this.. |

Re 1421: In the book, Menzies concludes that only China had the time, money, manpower, and leadership to send such expeditions and then sets out to prove that the Chinese visited lands unknown in either China or Europe. He claims that from 1421 to 1423, during the Ming dynasty of China under the Yongle Emperor, the fleets of Admiral Zheng He, commanded by the captains Zhou Wen, Zhou Man, Yang Qing, and Hong Bao, discovered Australia, New Zealand, the Americas, Antarctica, and the Northeast Passage; circumnavigated Greenland, tried to reach the North and South Poles, and circumnavigated the world before Ferdinand Magellan. 1421 instantly became an international success; it was translated into dozens of different languages and sold over a million copies. It was listed as a New York Times best seller for several weeks in 2003. |

Menzies claims that knowledge of Zheng He's discoveries was subsequently lost because the mandarin bureaucrats of the Ming imperial court feared that the costs of further voyages would ruin the Chinese economy. He conjectures that when the Yongle Emperor died in 1424 and the new Hongxi Emperor forbade further expeditions, the mandarins hid or destroyed the records of previous exploration to discourage further voyages.
