'A days Saum *Fast* in it equals the Saum of a year, and a nights Ibaadah in it equals the Ibaadah of Laylatul Qadr..' (TirmeThee - ibn Majah)

Most definitely sis.. Allaah Ta3aala has taken oath of the 10 nights in suratul Fajr.. All these days are filled with special virtues, especially the 9th, i.e the Day of Arafah and the night preceding Eid day..

The observance of the Saum of the 9th of Thul Hijjah *Day of Arafah* is a Kaffarah *atonement* of the past and coming year, and to remain awake on the night of Eid and perform Ibaadah is a source of great virtue and thawaab *reward*

Assalamu alaikum.on d ten day of d month, muslim are expected 2 slaugther any of d animal among Al an'am meaning camel, caw, sheep,and goat wit considering there years.camel 4yr, caw 2yrs, sheep 6mon,n goat 1yrs.

in respected of d years, it should be in consideration dat d animal is not sick, nor handicap. while d time of slaugther is after ed prayer to 3day after.

Nabee Sallal Laahu 3Alayhe Wasallam said.. aw qamaa qaal: 'No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on the 1st 10 days of Thul Hijjah..' Some Sa7habah Radheyal Laahu 3Anhum asked: 'Not even Jehaad?' Nabee Sallal Laahu 3Alayhe Wasallam replied: 'Not even Jehaad, except that of a man who went fighting for Allaah's sake, with his soul and wealth, and does not return until he spent all his wealth and died for the sake of Allaah..'

3Alee Radheyal Laahu 3Anhu reports that Nabee Sallal Laahu 3Alayhe Wasallam said: 'O Fatimah, go and present your Qurbaani, because the 1st drop of blood that falls from it causes all your sins to be forgiven.. This animal, on the Day of Resurrection, with its blood and flesh will be placed on your scale increasing it 70 times more..'

Abu Sa3eed Radheyal Laahu 3Anhu, on hearing of the great blessing asked if this great favour was only for the family of Nabee Sallal Laahu 3Alayhe Wasallm because they are more worthy of this good action.. Nabee Sallal Laahu 3Alayhe Wasallam replied that it is specially for his family and the entire Muslim Ummah as well..

On whom is Udheyah/ Qurbani Waajib? According to the Hanafi Mathab, it is Wajib *obligatory* on whom Sadaqatul Fitr is Waajib.. Therefore on the day of Eidul Adha, one who has the Nisaab of Sadaqatul Fitr, even though not possessf for a full Lunar year, Qurbaani is Waajib.. Qurbaani is Waajib every year on one having Nisaab.. Udhiyah is not Waajib on a Musaafir *traveller*

According to the Shafe3ee Mathhab, Qurbaani is sunnatul Mu'akkadah 3alal Kefaayah i.e if a few members in the community make the Qurbaani, the duty will be discharged on behalf of the whole community.. But this does not mean that one should be negligent regarding the Qurbaani.. Whoever can afford it, should not miss the opportunity of offering the sacrifice.. According to Imaam Shaafe3ee Ra7hmatul Laah 3Alayh, it is Makrooh *reprehensible* for one who can afford it, not to make it..

Nabee Sallal Laahu 3Alayhe Wasallam said aw qamaa qaal: 'One who has the means to offer Udheyah *Qurbaani* and does not, then he should not be present at our Eidgah..'

Once the Intention is made to make Qurbani, then it no longer remains sunnah, but becomes Fardh *compulsory* The Niyyah which will transform the sunnah Qurbani into a compulsory sacrifice, making the Niyyah to the effect: 'I intend this animal as a sacrifice..'
