OK If you bought an iPhone even it's not officially sold in your country then you know you can't use it without unlocking.. First of all you need a PC or MAC to unlock it. If you plan to buy it I suggest you to wait unlit it's offically sold in your country because unlocking it will void warranty plus some features may not be compatible with your operator, phone crashes often, sometimes SMS application fails and you have to connect it to PC and delete the SMS database.. To cut it short don't buy it unless you are not familiar with PC and unlocking stuff

There maybe people selling unlocked iPhones on the NET. Don't buy from them also because of the reasons above plus your phone will probably crash and will need a fresh install after some time so you'll have to get it unlocked or do it by yourself again..

why the hell should i post it if anyone interested in unlocking an iphone knows the minimum of IPSF or even the dev team unlock. just search the internet. i dont care if he owns the site. he's not perfect and so aint i! just giving the wrong information is completly wrong. sms not working?! i've read 1000's of reviews of the unlock and never anyone complained about that. but again, who cares?

well he should at least give the wright information... thats my opinion. i can not come here saying that if you unlock your phone you'll mess around with sms app! and all this buzz and i dont see any REAL information on how to unlock. if someone wants the REAL thing inbox me, i'll be glad to teach. **

you have to choose or you have the updates or have it unlocked. plus when you unlock (till now) the dev team comes with a solution within 2 or 3 days. last firmware update they cracked it in 12/14 hours. sorry i'm not wasting any more time on this topic. love from portugal!

Ill clear up the mess a lil...Dev team is an iphone unlocking team that releases the unlocking procedures for free after countless hours of hardwork and testing...Unlocking is safe because if u join a reliable iphone forum like hackint0sh.org ull see that many many ppl have already unlocked their phones by using the methods posted there and have asked their queries which have been answered

Secondly regarding updates and WARRANTY!! An iphone revirginizer has been released by dev team which removes ALL traces of unlocking from ur phone and returns it to FACTORY state.In this way warranty CAN be availed.This method has also been tested by forum members...Now updating, after revirginizing ur iphone, u can simply update it using the normal procedure that is via itunes and then

thanks to gurvin as he just cleared all out about the dev team. better would be impossible. and as i being a dentist or a killer who cares about that? i like gadgets and i'll always do so.... and i DO own an iphone, bought on an apple store in regents street, london and unlocked by me with the dev team unlocking tool.
