Sometimes, only when in a bit of a rush i will pop a pie or pasty or pie for a minute or two .

For quickness its good like cooking the christmas pudding in it as no saucepan available and no ring to put it on

Put the mixture in a jug and cook it lol the jug is easy to clean after

Microwaves are handy for some things at home, as said yeah I use mine for scrambled egg because it's not greasy, mostly hot milk, and it's good for warming a bit of cake up (only few seconds!).

I don't use it for defrosting, or melting chocolate, or heating sauces, I prefer to use pans.

I do heat microwave meals, but only at work out of canteen hours.

I cook proper food everyday. no microwave meals or processes foods in our house. not even canned foods

my microwave gets uaed to warm stuff up.. and i melt choc in it

I hate cleaning the pan after doing scrambled eggs somer that's why I use microwave

I have made this.. it is lovely thought I will share it.

Spoon 45 ml Self-Raising Wheat Flour, 30 ml cocoa powder and 60 ml sugar into a coffee mug.
Add 1 extra-large egg, 45 ml milk and 45 ml cooking oil. Mix well.
Microwave at 100 power for about 3 minutes or until it stops rising.

I use a soup mug tho as it rises quite. bit.
