So wat kind of music do u guys dj and/or produce. I mainly play mainly any gud house music but soulful n funky house vocals bein my favourites. Im into all types of music n wil play almost any genre if its dj-able. I produce mainly house nd a bit of hiphop.

I use ableton live 8 for producing and djing. And although I don't need to beat match the usual way with ableton, it still takes time to prepare a track and set it's warp markers so it can be beat matched. Plus it gives me flexability to add live parts to mixes, effects and even my own tracks. Plus I can fit 100s of tubes on my laptop, that's a lot easier than carrying round record boxes with a

i hate no one if you use virtual dj then it applies to you. why because then you are not serious at what you are doing. then pcsoftware and mixing wont come close to the human ear. If you want a sweet and cheap start with mixing Stanton Scratch with Tracktor hookup to your tunrtables and pc where you get your tracks from. the turntables are for control and you get 2 lp's with.
