Been said a million times the case will never be reopened because if it was found to be murder the cops will have to admit they did a bad job and have countless sad peoples copycat suicides to answer for

These weren't the pics from the house, these were morgue pics of him, with a copy of his death certificate. Also, this was in the days before Internet, so there wasn't quick links to pics available. And it had to be real, why would anyone put a death certificate next to a headless corpse and take a pic otherwise
