metal aint all about evil and theres way more creativity than in pop, hip hop or rap music. You gotta know the t y of music to compose music, in rap theres always just like 3 different beats and different story how you killed a cop. Hip hops pretty much the same with more spice and mayby something that reminds singing. Its dull and sounds cr*p.

the two genres are so far apart. i fail to see the point of this. and anyway im an underground rap head and i've listened to some awesome rock bands like 12 Stones and Crossfade. Probably not the best out there but i must admit that i've grown quite a liking to some rock music. Moving on now...

Rock is a bigger and better genre with alot of sub-genres and styles. To make rock music you have to be talented and have atleast 3 people with 10 years experience with an instrument and one who can sing. With Hip hop, you can just autotune and make beats. Anyone can do that. The only good hip hop is mayb Alternative hip hop or somethin like Linkin Park.

i find rap and hip hop kind of brightens the mood and u get a laid back/travel in car listening to it feeling. but with rock/metal that really gets u moving, and theres alot of instrumental creativity there and the guitar solos blow me away. but i listen to anything depending on my mood.
