Right now and for quite a long time now, i've been a huge fan of Ill nino (an under-rated spanish nu metal band) if you're interested in the genre, please check out this band, if you havent they are amazing.

ill nino,korn and linkin park which also started off like nu metal have nothing to do with each other's genre. so nu metal is to me an excuse on labeling metal-ish music that can't be really classified into anything,just so you can name it somehow. verdict: new metal is not a real genre,it is the same as 'alternative',might as well be called such..

No they aren't s**t and you just labelled them ''pop rock'', have you even listened to their album meteora? all the songs are either nu metal/ alternative metal/ rap metal etc. i agree thousand suns is weak though.
