i never used to listen to this much in the past but over the last couple of months ive been really gettting into it, anyone want to name your fav bands in this genre and recommend bands not everyone knows about? |

God of Bodom, arch enemy, dark tranquillity, The black Dahlia murder and Amon Amarth. If you love melodic death metal, be sure to check out these bands, although to be honest i'm into progressive death metal at the moment.

ive heard a little insomnium but cant remember the names of any songs, same with dark tranquility but i liked what i heard, same with amon amarth. occasionally when i get some time i go on last.fm and listen to their melodeath station

has anyone heard of a side project thingy called guitar heroes? its a collaberation between 12 of the best melodeath and power metal bands in finland, heard a song from them on last.fm called 12 donkeys, some rather good guitar work from everyone
