The main prob wid symbian is that its Not Free (even iOS is not free is i guess). Where as the awesome Android is totally Free..Thats why android is flourishing. So when u r buying an android, remember that u r paying for the hardware, not software unlike iOS and symbian

Hope the day comes soon when we can choose between Operatin system. Just buy the high end fone and install it wid the desired os. That'd b totally awesome.I wud buy an iphone and install it wid blackberry os android

neither do i but n900 is pretty open and can run any open os like android, ubuntu and other open source os's. its a nice phone to mess about with. i tried android on it and it ran sweet, impressive but made the phone hot after a bit running off the memory card so uninstalled, meant to be better on the mass memory though. not tried the other ones, doesnt bother me.

easy, just typed a few comands in xterminal. it formats and partitions your card though. theres a guide at talk.maemo.org
