my ex used to do a watered down version of it. i picked up a filleting knife and cut myself properly and she stopped doing it after that

its all about control, that's somethin they can control because they feel they have lost control of their lives. I know a lady who does it u wouldn't know by lookin at her. She's seein a ther*pist atm who's helping but the slightest upset sets her back weeks.

she's been doin it many many years, it helps a bit but like I said the slightest thing can set her right back to self harming again. She's cut her thighs, arms, stomach, iv seen it, its not pretty. She's even brushed her teeth so much till they bled. She's a kind carin woman has been thru a lot tho.

I knew a woman years ago and her boyfriend used to beat her up, she slashed her wrists and went to hospital. Never forget that

Wonder if it's an attention thing.. Weird stuff on social media last few years, teens committing suicide just to get obituary likes on Facebook and then there's that yank lass who pushed her Bf to commit suicide so she could get sympathy

Do they, though? Kids in the 1940s had a lot to deal with.. I don't know, if it was about pain they'd stab themselves with a pin. Far more pain:damage ratio there. No, it still echoes attention to me. |
