As long as their strike is peaceful and doesn't affect others, yeah, I would support it. People have a right to show their unhappiness with those sort of things.

No i dont support them. My sympathy is with the parents who may have to take time off work to provide childcare. These teachers need to get in the real world and with 13 weeks holiday a year and free weekends, they don't know they're born. Public sector workers need to realise how lucky they are to have jobs when nearly 3million are unemployed.

I have a issue with supporting striking teachers. In fact, I'm starting to have issues with unions period

I can't support any Teacher striking, disrupting childrens education has no excuses, there are many ways to pressure and protest other than effecting a child's future

Me too Fireyes. Unions used to do a lot of good but these days they are just in it for themselves. They should be campaigning in support of those exploited by the Work Programme but they would rather go on needless strikes like this potentially hurting childrens valuable education. Union leaders on average earn over 200k a year plus expenses so they don't care.

Exactly my reason. They rather find things to btch about in order to justify their existence. Why should someone who pushes carts at a store earn well over minimum wage compared to someone who went to school for an actual career? I've seen a union protest a store because the cart guys made just above minimum wage. Defeats the reason unions were originally started for

Teachers have been pampered for decades, time they had the same terms and conditions as everyone else
