I didn't bother to google, but I always thought brain cells don't regenerate?.....once they die, the others take the load?.... |

they regenerate when your young but as you get older that dosent happen and things like dimentia set in

Neurogenesis may occur. There was talk about stimulating this artificially via some sort of induced seizure.

@ ungers - 26.03.14 - 01:25am I didn't bother to google, but I always thought brain cells don't regenerate?.....once they die, the others take the load?.... Brain and nerve cells can regenerate, but that is a rather recent discovery that hasn't made it in a lot of textbooks. |

Brain cells once they die, they don't breed or regenerate but, the rest of them that have left link together more thru synapses. You can help your brain cells link together by doing anything that makes you think, sleep much, having a good attitude, avoiding alcohol and a good diet.
