You cant selectively abort, can you? Surely they just stop the unwanted ones heart and leave it there...

@bambi60 | 2 August 14 |
I would have thought that more likely, with twins @piggle ....

It's a risky affair, surrogation. As with any shared/assisted conceptions (and of course, all conceptions!). But there are still blatantly obvious moral boarders that any human being can see, and the Aussie couple crossed them - they should be named and shamed. I suppose they can hide behind the innocence of the healthy baby, but she'll be none the wiser, the dust will have settled before it affects her. |

personally I'd take the girl off them and return her to the thai family.sadly not sure that would be legal

Isn't there like some legal case that can ensue from this? I'm sure there's something that can be done.

according to sky news no laws have been broken, they paid the woman to carry a child for them when they found out she was having twins they allegedly promised to pay her some more money, which she hasn't received as when the amniocentesis was carried out and downs syndrome was found they told her to abort the foetus which the surrogate refused due to religious beliefs.

It's not a catch 22 braxton,any decent/normal parents would have taken the boy irrespective of his disabilities

I assume laws would have been considered to be have been broken had the surrogate not had to lie to embassy officials about the circumstances of the birth in order for the Australian ''parents'' to take the girl out of the country. Which she did under threat of not being paid. I've shared my views on this with a few friends already, don't feel the need to rehash my opinion for the forum morons. I have nothing but compassion for the surrogate and the boy is all I'll bother saying. |
