If I could sell daylight, I would be the richest man in the galaxy....example...u drive 2 hours to go do a job, but it gets dark too soon....would you pay for extra daylight, or drive home, only to go back the next day?....Think about the construction companies, even power-companies would buy daylight, cos its expensive keeping the lights on..... |

Endless possibilities....I will start working on a satellite that can beam light to any place on earth.....with huge mirrors, reflecting the sunlight wherever I want it.....The beam would be controlled, lighting a few blocks, or an entire continent.....

Let's say it can be done, well, at least I thought about it first...........

This is why we can't have nice things. Power is for people who think before they do something. About more than money. Ideally, anyway. |

The satellite would be horribly expensive.....gotta charge a fee, to cover the cost, and a few trillion for my effort.....first stop.....patent-office......I'm rich!.....

Actually, I see no reason why it won't work.....no death-ray or anything that extreme......a mirror the size of a plate could provide light to a huge area on the ground.....there is no interference with the light in space.......(apart from man-made debris floating around up there).....

I doubt the patent office will be in high support of your intent to destroy earths ecological system, but good luck with that anyway.

I don't see that happen anytime soon......money talks.....with a satellite, it would be almost free, once its up there......the powers that be won't allow it....

@ mikeymk - 23.02.15 - 07:10am I doubt the patent office will be in high support of your intent to destroy earths ecological system, but good luck with that anyway. Just light, and only when and where its needed....not enough to upset the ecology..... |
