Im really impressed with her after reading a little more. She went into teaching after her own children witnessed horrific things that come with daily life in palestine. They required special attention at school to deal.with the every day trauma. Her teaching included learning through play and keeping the every day violence out of the school. A safe haven for learning. Amazing, strong and brave woman. Fkn hi 5.

So shes won a million pound for teaching what most normal people do? Like its not an unreasonable thing to expect teachers to teach non violence. Are there teachers out there that teach violence?

Given the location and history... I'm sure there's many questionable teachers teaching questionable teachings. It's cool that's she's making an effort to give the kids some conflict free learning space. She was also in the fugees. |
