So you think pensioners with a spare room or two should pay the bedroom tax?

You're ignoring what I've already said, to push your headline.

A simple yes or no will suffice Michael. Thank you kindly.

If a pensioner is living in a property which is an unnecessary burden on the taxpayer, because that property is unnecessarily large, then the pensioner should be either relocated somewhere more suitable, or they should refund the taxpayer the percentage in question - this percentage refund is called ''the bedroom tax'' by the sensationalist press.

Your question is invalid and doesn't warrant such an answer.

What about the Bottom tax? Too many people squandering unused bums, they're just lying around unused. ''Does my bu m look big in this?'' You're damn right it does! Enough room there for two. |

On the grounds that 'the bedroom tax' is a term used to describe wasted space that someone is claiming unnecessary benefits for, then yes, that person should be paying that back. Obviously it has to be fair. A genuine offer of suitable relocation should be made available first. |
